King of Popcorn: Movie Night Series

The Heal Los Angeles Foundation is thrilled to announce our upcoming event at the legendary Jackson Family compound, Hayvenhurst. Introducing the “King of Popcorn: Movie Night Series,” our aim is to offer Michael Jackson fans and the general public a rare opportunity to experience the beauty of Hayvenhurst.
As many of our valued supporters are aware, our signature event, Thriller Night, had to be canceled for 2023 due to the filming of the Michael Jackson biopic on the property. The uncertainty surrounding the writer’s strike and its duration caused the filming to be postponed, allowing us to use the property in December.
What Movie? Rush Hour 2!
To kick off the “King of Popcorn: Movie Night Series,” we’ve selected the fan-favorite, Rush Hour 2, starring our foundation ambassador, Chris Tucker. We look forward to reliving moments like Chris’s karaoke rendition of “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” and his unforgettable kick with the wrong leg! Fans often miss the chance to see Hayvenhurst during the day since most events, like Thriller Night, take place at night. This event provides a unique opportunity to admire the property’s beauty in daylight.
Purchasing a ticket for the “King of Popcorn: Movie Night Series” grants you early access a few hours before the movie begins at 5:00 PM. Your ticket includes complimentary food, snacks, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages, and a take-home goody bag. The movie will be screened in the outdoor backyard area of Hayvenhurst, with bean bags and blankets provided for your comfort. We’ll also have heaters strategically placed to keep you warm.
Please note that due to the outdoor screening, indoor access will be limited. Further details regarding arrival times, parking directions, and additional perks will be provided to ticket holders soon.

For those interested in purchasing tickets, please visit this link. As a friendly reminder, your ticket donation to the Heal Los Angeles Foundation is eligible for a tax write-off. We will provide you with the necessary documentation for your tax records. Please note that the tax write-off is only available in the United States. Rest assured that all donations made to the Foundation directly support our programs and signature events.
