We are excited to officially welcome Eric Pleschner to the Heal Los Angeles Foundation Board of Directors. Eric brings with him decades of nonprofit leadership, a strong entrepreneurial background, and a lifelong passion for youth empowerment and community development.

A Message from Eric

“It’s inspiring joining the Heal LA Foundation board. I’m moved by their program approach, and the transformative impacts they have for youth. One by one, young people are building greater self-confidence and becoming positive examples. Heal LA personifies Michael Jackson’s philanthropic heart and legacy into the future. I’m eager to support their new generation of ideas from 40 years of experience working in charitable non-profits.”

Learn About Eric Pleschner

Eric currently serves as President of the Charles Becker Foundation, which he helped establish in 1997. Under his leadership, the foundation has distributed over $10 million to youth-focused programs and impactful community initiatives. His philanthropic values were shaped early on by a family legacy rooted in creativity, generosity, and service. From relatives in the arts and antiques world to mentors in business and philanthropy, Eric’s path has always been guided by a deep commitment to giving back.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Eric has been involved in everything from supporting local art communities to participating in cultural exchange and international adoption efforts in Russia. What stands out most about Eric is his heart for helping young people heal, grow, and thrive—values that are directly in line with our mission at Heal LA.

We’re honored to have Eric join our board and look forward to the insight, compassion, and dedication he brings to our team. We are also incredibly thankful to Eric and the Charles A. Becker Foundation for generously matching the first $20,000 raised in our newest donor initiative, the 777 Donor Club. Their support helps us continue creating lasting impact for the youth and families of Los Angeles.
