About Jarvis Sam

Jarvis Sam is a visionary leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), with an exceptional track record of driving transformative change in workplaces and communities. As the founder and CEO of Rainbow Disruption, Jarvis leads an innovative DEI firm dedicated to fostering equitable and inclusive environments.

Before launching his own venture, Jarvis served as Nike’s Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, where he spearheaded initiatives to increase representation and cultivate inclusive leadership. His efforts included collaborations with icons such as Serena Williams and LeBron James, as well as partnerships with organizations like the WNBA and NFL. For his groundbreaking work, Jarvis was recognized on Forbes 30 Under 30 in Sports (2021) and Portland Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Jarvis’s academic achievements are equally inspiring. A summa cum laude graduate of Rice University, he earned degrees in History, Public Policy, and Sport Management, with a focus on race and gender rhetoric. He also holds an MBA from Brown University and IE School of Business.

Over the course of his career, Jarvis has held pivotal roles at leading organizations. He developed Snap Inc.’s first diversity and inclusion strategy, led technology recruiting efforts, and served as a Diversity Program Manager at Google. He began his journey as a strategy consultant at Deloitte, where he laid the foundation for his impactful career in driving positive change.
